With a decade-long experience as an artist and art consultant in Madison, Wisconsin, Jason has honed his craft and passion for bringing beauty to life through his paintings. Spring of 2025 marked a significant milestone for Jason as he bid farewell to his home on Madison’s Eastside and embarked on a new chapter, moving south to the enchanting Sugar River area. Driven by his dream of establishing a studio and gallery that would inspire both artists and art enthusiasts alike, his journey is one fueled by dedication, perseverance, and boundless artistic expression.

I create watercolors that connect us by transforming the ordinary into the sublime, finding the interesting in the mundane and the unnoticed. Once engaged, you will imagine a story. Jay Handy, a master printmaker specializing in etching and chine collé, is talented at crafting ethereal dreamscapes that captivate the senses. His artistic journey, which has spanned institutions like Harvard Business School and Lesley University College of Art and Design, has shaped him into the artist he is today. Settled in Madison, Wisconsin, Jay weaves intricate tapestries of memories, infusing his work with nostalgia and tension.

Joshua Ludke is an artist, teacher, nature enthusiast and father, who is driven to create and to pass on the spirit of creation to others. His current work comes out of a passion for giving new life to found, discarded pieces of wood while trying to honor the natural origins of his chosen media. “The joy in my work is in the discovery process. I love to scavenge for curb wood and scraps from other Artists and transform them into my bugs along with other bits and pieces like guitar string antennae, wire legs, etc. It is my hope that my work invites people not only to enjoy and appreciate the interesting world of insects and other animals, but also perhaps consider our own use of materials and what affect our consumption has on the world.”

My work pairs natural and human-made imagery, often utilizing recycled materials. Creating art with items that would usually be discarded gives them new value. I often question our culture of waste and wonder why we perceive some items as valuable and others as trash. I wonder about our impact on the planet and what remnants of our present society might look like in the distant future.

Anastasiya “Nastia” Craig is a visual artist and interior designer of Ukrainian origin. She began her studies in drawing, painting, and art history in her hometown of Odessa, Ukraine, before moving to the United States at 17 to pursue interior design, attending Cazenovia College and the New York Institute of Technology, and eventually settling in Madison, WI. Nastia’s work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at local and national galleries and highlighted in regional publications. Her practice has evolved from representational drawing and painting into abstract painting and mixed media collage, exploring themes of self-awareness, transformation, and the interplay between chaos and order, with her design background informing her sensitivity to color, movement, and spatial composition.

Charissa is a Wisconsin attorney and artist whose abstract paintings balance structure and atmosphere. While her professional life is built on precision, planning, and control, her artistic practice embraces the unexpected. Her paintings often reveal themselves through the process, rather than beginning with a defined destination. She believes art should be approachable and that there is no single “correct” way to experience it. Whether a viewer finds a memory, an emotion, a familiar shape, or simply a moment of beauty, every response is valid. Her work is not intended to provide answers, but to leave room for curiosity.

Daniel Leuzinger, a Northern Wisconsin woodcraft artist, spent nearly three decades building and working with his hands before a serious accident ended his trucking career. He put down roots in the North Woods, drawing on time in Canada and Alaska to create furniture and woodcraft that reflect the region’s rugged natural beauty. He’s built four homes and now shares his craft with his fiancée, Diane Leigh. Diane, raised on a Southern Wisconsin farm, has long loved working with wood and the outdoors. Married in 1971, she raised three children (now with grandchildren and great-grandchildren of their own) and continued woodworking through retirement. After losing her husband in 2014, she reconnected with her old friend Daniel, and their shared love of nature and craftsmanship brought them together. Now engaged, Daniel and Diane handcraft furniture, bird feeders, cheese cutters, breadboards, and cutting boards — often personalized with Diane's laser cutter. Their work reflects joy, creativity, and small-business spirit.
